When Boy meets Boy

When Boy meets Boy is a story about ADAM, an ordinary Filipino gay guy with an extraordinary story. He made girls, boys and those in between swoon when he gave us a glimpse of the ups and downs of his love (and) life. He knew exactly how it felt to be a young gay guy in love, and we found ourselves laughing along with him or silently weeping in shared sadness. Adam proved that love knows no gender nor preference. When it hits you, you can't help but fall hard. whenboymeetsboy.blogspot.com

Boy meets Boy [Chapter 1: It all ended with a post it]

My name is Adam. My name is the 69th most popular boys name in the United States. I find that nonsense info somewhat funny. If you get what I meant then probably there’s something we have in common. I won't lie and go straight to the point by saying that I'm gay. And by gay I don't mean I'm a happy person. Sure, I'm not gloomy or anything close to that. I'm just, well, gay . There’s nothing really special about me. I’m just some average looking 20 something gay guy who tries to live decently in the urban jungles of Manila. I wish I could share something out of this world or something extra special about me like how I was the “special” one who discovered the cure for AIDS or I’m the first gay astronaut that ever landed planet Pluto. But the truth is, I’m just one of those people who you would pass by some random street and never bother to do a double look. When I was little, my mom used to tell me that I have the weirdest fixation to words. In fact, she said tha...

It's not you...it's me.

A popular line of ASSHOLES who initiate a breakup or a popular answer you get when you confront some SWINE who suddenly goes silent and gets lost without even expressing intentions of closure. "It's not you, it's me." Question: Why say that? Do you think it helps? Why not say on my face that you want to get rid of me? You play culprit but you effect the same thing => HURT. Obviously, the purpose that line is to somehow "ease" the pain of the poor guy who still wants you; the guy who didn't understand why you left and who couldn't figure out what he did that made you scram. It is always said on the excuse that one has a "deeper problem" than what seems to be on the surface, something one has to resolve himself, or something he has to take care of which is FIRST in his line of priorities. It may be indecision or any other self-crisis. That is the facade the line usually creates. Does it make a difference? Why not be man enough? Speak your ...

When Boy meets Boy

Boy meets girl. Girl meets Boy. Boy meets Boy. Boy loves Boy. ADAM is a 20 something gay guy who’s fed up with his life. He just broke up with his long time model wannabe boyfriend for 10 years, his small flat was flooded, and his boss just kept on riding on his body of work without properly acknowledging him. He is living in a quarter life crisis dealing with issues such as his sexuality, societal acceptance and his failed aspirations. He decided to finally live his life and somewhat succeeded when he met ANDRE- the guy who changed everything. My name is Adam. My name is the 69th most popular boys name in the United States. I find that nonsense info somewhat funny. If you get what I meant then probably there’s something we have in common. I won't lie and go straight to the point by saying that I'm gay. Love Lost

I've waited 3 years for a new relationship. Well, not really "wait", because whenever I'm on vacation, speed dating services would envy me at how fast I go through dates. Whenever I wasn't on a date, I went out with friends to "hunt" at clubs and bars - 99% of which ends up with my friends carrying new human accessories with them, and me, just a lighted cigarette and a sure-fire hang-over. My friends kept on telling me that I have really high standards and whenever we go out, my constant blabber of "Nobody's interested in me" is more of a "Nobody here is interesting for me". Even now, I don't know which is which. During this vacation though, I went out with one guy who I'll hide under the name of Marshall ... and I almost thought that he was THE ONE. ... adventure # 166: Reality (un)edited

I am 24 years old.(Just celebrated my birthday a day ago) I know it’s not really a big deal since I’m relatively “young” but like what my friend said, it’s “the year” before I reach my quarter life (crisis?). This is of course in accordance to the assumption that I’ll live for 100 years. *fingers crossed* The cliché goes that age is but a number. Therefore, we shouldn’t really be bothered whether we are 16 or 60. While cleaning my closet this morning, I saw my super dusty math book (Hi Mr. Leithold!). If there is ONE thing that math taught me it would be the fact that numbers do matter. The ancient Greek philosopher, Pythagoras was right all along. Numbers are everything. Let me give a little exercise just to prove my point that numbers matter in this shithole of a world we live in. Let's begin with my so-called life. I've been living for more or less 8760 days or 210, 240 hours or 12, 614, 440 minutes or 756,864, 000 seconds! I have 1 sister and had a total of 34 pet do...

adventure # 164: Love exists

"All you need is Love. Love is all you need" -The Beatles Does Love really exist? Does love really, really exist? When at this very second an innocent child is dying in Africa because of AIDS. When at this very moment a school girl is being raped by a group of bored rich kids who are not afraid of being caught because they belong to a family of politicians. When at this very moment a hungry street child is standing outside the window of a store that says "It serves billions." When at this very moment, a child is secretly crying inside her bedroom closet because she overheard her parents arguing again for the hundredth time. When at this very moment a mother is skipping meals in London just to save up so that she can send her family their monthly allowance in the Philippines. When at this very moment a gay college student is being beaten up and ridiculed for just being himself. When at this very moment the corrupt governor is buying a brand new car while his driver...
