But that’s not really what she meant, of course:
“I don’t take back what I said,” she told Lauer of AccessHollywood, adding that she “had spoken from my heart, from my beliefs and for my God.”
“It’s not about being politically correct,” she said. “For me, it’s about being biblically correct.“
About being biblically correct, well, here's a passage from the Bible I thought you'd like to read:
1 Timothy 2
“9 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. 11 A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet”
How ironic. Here is a stupid beauty queen who struts around a stage with almost no clothes on, yet is concerned about being “biblically correct!” What a hypocritical BITCH! Perhaps she missed all those Bible passages about being modest?
Well it seems her god wasn’t all that impressed with her self-labeled biblical correctness, as she lost to Miss North Carolina, Kristen Dalton. lol.
Well on the second thought...parang I dont care what she thinks.. Shes not a politician. She can't do anything on Prop 8.

well, God does not always give us what we would want even if you did the right thing..
Look at Job in the Old Testament.
One may not agree with her but still, her guts to stand up for what she believes in is amiable.
Sometimes, those who are used to shout against homophobia should ask themselves if they have heterophobia.
There's just nothing admirable abt her r her response:
1. her answer, while true to herself, is realy very homophobis and so unbecoming for a beauty queen, and;
2. She did not stand up for her beliefs. she tried being politically correct, failed, and just said whatever was in her mind.
But I guess one factor we're forgetting here is Perez himself. The issue in itself is just scandalicious. But does he have to go lamabsting her and calling her names on national TV and on YouTube? I mean he sounded like a schoolgirl looking for a catfight.
While he was hoping for Ms Cali to be PC, he should have done the same and acted with maturity.
When put down, the underdog has t rise up to the challenge with grace. The last thing needed here is catty cat calls.
Dun lang siya natalo ni Ms Cali coz in the post event interviews, Ms Cali faced the issue with more grace... Too bad for the homos 'representative' in the matter... hay...
On a separate note:
pwede ba, please enough with Bible quotations, hindi po book of quotes ang bibliy para mamili tayo ng passgaes that will serve our purpose.
